Daps is a Nigerian born, British raised, American developed director and writer. This multicultural balance has given Daps an eclectic perspective, and it shows in his work. From informative pieces in Africa, to commercials in the UK, and music videos in the States, Daps' range and understanding of different mediums and culture are hard to parallel. A former NCAA college athlete with a bachelors in business and masters in communication, Daps began his foray into the world of entertainment by writing concepts and 2nd-unit directing for blockbuster music videos under the wing of the iconic Director X. Daps also 2nd Unit directed and devised concepts for Kendrick Lemar, T.I., Jennifer Hudson, Wiz Kid, and many more. More recently Daps has provided his talents as a director for leading brands such as Nike and BMW, chart topping music videos for Migos, Quavo, 2 Chainz, Rich The Kid, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, City Girls, Davido, Jordin Sparks, Dappy, and Sneakbo. In addition, the acclaimed director has been nominated for two BET Awards and two MTV VMA Awards.
